Utilization of Agile Scrum and Usage of Support Software Tools
Tošner, Jiří ; Doskočil, Radek (referee) ; Smolíková, Lenka (advisor)
Agile software development methodologies are very popular for their efficiency and flexibility. This thesis focuses on agile software development methodology called Scrum. Basic description and comparison of traditional and agile methodologies is mentioned at first. Attention is paid to methodology Scrum which is shown on an example of usage by a specific company. It is convenient to use some software tool for organization of Scrum methodology. Therefore, an overview of the most common tools and basic comparison of software tools for organizing this methodology is presented. Conclusion of this thesis is recommendation for improvements for the investigated team, based on issues which were identified.
Implementation of Selected Agile Methodology of Software Development Project Management
Křížová, Sabina ; Smolíková, Lenka (referee) ; Doskočil, Radek (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the introduction of a selected agile methodology in project management, more specifically the development of software for weapons simulators. The aim of this work is the introduction of selected agile methodology in the management of the software development project and its subsequent design on a fictitious project of Saab Czech, s.r.o. The theoretical part is devoted to describing the methods used and comparing them. Separate methods will be described in more detail. The next part will be an analysis of the current state of society using the traditional approach. The starting point for the design of the project itself is an analysis of the current state of development of software and industry development. The aim of the solution is to develop a project proposal that will have a selected agile management in place and thus will be successfully achieve the stated objectives of the Bachalor thesis.
Tasks Board Optical Recognition
Sznapka, Jakub ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with the optical recognition of the tasks board in the agile environment. Based on theoretical knowledge about the agile project management, the concept of the task board is introduced. Possible representations of this agile tool are discussed, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. In connection with the optical recognition of the objects, follows the theoretical part dealing with barcodes, their structure and methods of detection and decoding. Based on these facts, the application design is reflecting all the needs specified by the company Siemens CT DC which is the contracting authority of the project. Implemented solution used for synchronization between the physical and virtual task board is able to detect the task cards with reliability about 95 % and allows the full synchronization of the task board during the four cycles. Deployment in the software development team and using the fully automated mode brings approximately five times quicker synchronization than it was before. In a case of semi-automated mode, it is about three times faster than before.

Application of SCRUM Methodology on a Software Development Project

Agile Development Teams Management Support Tool
Uchytil, Albert ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This thesis describes an implementation of a support tool for an agile development team management. In the beginning, it describes a theoretical background for the tool. The thesis also focuses on the selection of the implementation technology, after that it focuses on designing a technical solution and provides an architectural design of the information system itself. It also describes a user testing process and reviews it afterwards. The system is inspired by the latest version of the PMI standard. The conclusion summarizes the work and discusses possible improvements of the created prototype.
Implementace agilní metodiky projektového řízení pro softwarové projekty
Zezula, Lukáš
The diploma thesis deals with the implementation of agile methodology Scrum. The aim of the thesis is to implement the agile Scrum methodology for an internal development project. In order to accomplish the goal, the background from the theoretical part of the thesis will be used, which focuses on current agile methodologies including Scrum. The practical part deals with the implementation of the Scrum methodology, where the implementation itself is focused on the creation of all the necessary artifacts of the methodology, including the integration and setup of the methodology in the internal Jira software. The thesis also aims to identify the risks associated with the use of the methodology for larger scale projects and propose measures for the identified risks.
